The TAKAPARA ART category is our crown jewel collection, where a sock stops being just an underwear item and becomes a carrier of culture, history, and design. We have gathered here the results of our most creative collaborations and tributes paid to great movements in art. From the geometric precision of Bauhaus, through the elegance of Art Deco, to contemporary tattoos, literature, and icons of Polish design. This is a collection for collectors, aesthetes, and anyone who believes that art should accompany us at every step – literally.

The TAKAPARA ART Manifesto: More Than Fashion

Why socks? Because they are the most democratic piece of clothing. Everyone wears them, but not everyone uses their potential. Within Special Editions, we give voice to creators. We believe that Łódź – the city we come from – obliges us to combine textile tradition with an avant-garde approach to life. This category is a collection of microcosms, each telling a different story:

Architecture and Epoch Styles

We travel in time. Our series inspired by Art Déco and Bauhaus are a nod to the 1920s and 30s. Here you will find patterns that draw from the elegance of "The Great Gatsby" and the functional minimalism of the Walter Gropius school. These are socks for lovers of symmetry, the golden ratio, and timeless classics that look great in a modern office.

Icons of Polish Design

We are proud of our heritage. In this category, you will find the fruits of our cooperation with the VZÓR brand – socks inspired by the cult armchair RM58 by Roman Modzelewski. We transferred the organic form of this furniture onto soft knitwear, proving that industrial design and fashion can go hand in hand.

Contemporary Art and Literature

TAKAPARA ART is also a platform for living artists. Cooperation with Filip Zawada and Znak Publishing House ("From the Potato's Point of View") introduces humor and philosophical reflection to our offer. In turn, the collaboration with Studio Niebo (tattoo artists from Łódź) transfers tattoo art onto cotton, allowing you to wear "ink" without pain and commitment.

New Identity

In this category, you will also find the "New Takapara" collection, which celebrates our rebranding. These are socks with the new "aa" signet, symbolizing the pair and our evolution from Strzemiński's inspiration to modern, legible design.

Quality in the Service of Art

A beautiful pattern is not enough. For art to be "wearable," it must be comfortable. All socks from Special Editions are produced in Poland from the highest quality combed cotton. We use machines with a dense weave (up to 200 needles), which allows us to precisely reproduce details – from a thin tattoo line to literary typography. These are luxurious, durable, and skin-friendly products, Oeko-Tex certified.
