Bet on patches! Funny socks in cows

Funny socks in cows

In our summer collection there are up to three brand new designs. Pool socks, socks with a Wawel dragon and socks with fudge are waiting for you. Today we will devote a few words to the latter. Wearing funny cow socks is not only a great way to conquer styling, but also an ideal opportunity to learn a little more about these majestic animals. On the surface, cows seem uncomplicated. They spend their days plucking grass in pastures and don't seem to care too much about anything. But in reality, they are highly intelligent creatures that establish relationships and show a wide range of emotions. A study of Individual Recognition in Domestic Cattle found that heifers can distinguish members of their herd from strangers not only in person, but even from two-dimensional photos. As many as five out of seven cows were first approached with photographs of familiar animals and then licked or sniffed a particular photo, among other things. In the second stage of the experiment, the same animals correctly selected as many as three familiar cows from a set of twenty photographs. Cows are believed to have a well-developed socio-visual memory, resulting in, among other things, that they can recognize not only members of the herd, but also humans. Moreover, they not only remember other creatures, but also form bonds with them and miss their companions when they are separated. Cows experience joy, sadness, anger and stress. Scientists have proven that animals can show specific emotions using muzzle facial expressions. Latin creatures can also be extremely stubborn. For example, if a caretaker leads them to a new barn, they may be reluctant to go inside. This is primarily due to a natural fear of the unknown.

Of course, cows are best known for producing milk, but their role in our lives is much broader. Milk is used to make a whole range of products - from classic cheese to yogurts to sweet ice cream. Poland, by the way, is one of the largest milk producers in Europe, and dairy cows are an important part of domestic agriculture. Interestingly, there are more than 1.5 billion cows in the world, and some are treated like family members - especially in countries where the cow has the status of a sacred animal. Although they don't often play a leading role, cows also have their five minutes on screen and in commercials. Who doesn't remember the mascot of popular chocolates - the friendly purple cow from the Alpine meadows? It has become an icon of sweet advertising and one of the most recognizable chocolate brands in the world. In turn, the mule on the milk package is almost folklore - it appears on thousands of food products, symbolizing rural naturalness. In animation, cows can be very... expressive. In “On the Wave” or “Chicken Little” they play amusing, slightly disheveled supporting characters. And in “Barnyard - Homestead” we have a real cow hero - Otis, who leads night parties when the farmer is not looking. Cows also appear in computer games, such as in “Minecraft,” where they are a source of milk and skin, as well as in the... the famous easter egg from the game “Diablo II,” which is a secret cow level full of armed war cows. And we can't forget about cow print - that is, a pattern inspired by cow patches, which is returning to fashion like a boomerang. We have seen it on the catwalks, in accessories and even on nails. Now it has also made its appearance on our batten socks.
