We wear socks with cats in honor of the world's most beautiful cat
If you live under the same roof with a cat, you certainly have no doubt that it is your purrfect cat that is the most beautiful and wonderful in the whole world. We can't argue with that, because every cat is equally wonderful, but there is one male cat that has received official papers for it. We are talking about Bacardi cat, who lives in Gdansk with his owner Joanna on a daily basis. The male cat belongs to the breed of Russian Blue cats. It has large green eyes and a gray-blue coat. The beauty of the Polish cat was appreciated at the World Exhibition in Norway, where Bacardi was awarded the title of World Winner 2024. Thus, the male cat beat nearly 1500 coming from the most diverse corners of the world. Although this is no mean feat, Bacardi's fame has not gone to his head, and his upcoming plans include a nap under a blanket, a portion of treats and bird watching. We, on the other hand, in celebration of our compatriot's success, put on socks in kittens and go hug our pets. After all, every little purr is sure to welcome an extra dose of affection and compliments.

To celebrate the success of the Polish champion, we put on socks with cats, but we will also devote a few words to the breed that Bacardi represents. Russian blue cats have long legs and a slender body structure. Most often they reach a weight in the range of 3 to 5 kg. A distinctive feature of Russian blue cats are green eyes with an intense emerald hue. They are also distinguished by a coat of gray-blue color, which is often accompanied by a silver sheen. There are also cats with a white or black color. Despite the fact that Russian cats do not have long fur, it is extremely soft, all due to the fact that the length of the hair from the undercoat and the outer coat is equal. Russian blue cats are friendly by nature and become very attached to their guardians. They are not cats that like to be left alone for hours at a time. They enjoy both the company of people and other animals. They are extremely intelligent cats that need physical and intellectual challenges. Otherwise, they will get bored and may, for example, scratch the furniture out of frustration. Interactive toys and playing together with the owner, for example, are a good solution. Russian Blue cats are considered a long-lived breed. A beloved purr can accompany you for up to 20 years.
