Parliamentary elections - what is worth remembering?

On October 15, 2023, parliamentary elections will be held. On this day we will be able to elect our representatives to the Sejm and Senate. The vote will result in the election of 460 deputies and 100 senators, who will serve four-year terms. You should come to the polling place with an ID card. After verifying it, members of the election commission hand out two ballots. Their authenticity is evidenced by the stamp of the seal of the PEC and the imprint of the seal of the DEC. On both cards we put an "x" mark next to the chosen name. Any other marking or lack thereof makes the card invalid. If you will not be in the municipality where you are registered during the election, it is essential to remember to obtain a certificate that will allow you to vote in another area. The earliest you can apply is 44 days before the election date, and the latest is 3 days before the start of the election. People with moderate or severe disabilities and those over 60 years of age can vote by proxy. The relevant application must be submitted no later than 10 days before the vote. There is also the option of free transportation to the election. In this case, the application must be submitted no later than 13 days before the election date.
