Interstellar socks

Many people agree that everyday life is not conducive to reflection. It is difficult to find time to reflect on what surrounds us among the multitude of duties. This is one of the reasons why the World Space Day was established. It is a holiday that reminds us of how amazing the universe can be. In order not to forget about this day, it is good to equip yourself with space socks. The navy blue socks that resemble the night sky with their shade will definitely work. If you are a starlight lover, you will surely like yellow neon socks. Such a choice may inspire you to have fascinating thoughts. Who knows, maybe you will even decide to go for an evening walk to admire the stars? It is estimated that there are nearly 350 billion galaxies in the Universe and 3.5 trillion dwarf galaxies. The sheer magnitude of the numbers can be overwhelming at first, but at the same time it shows how big the universe is and how much there is still to discover.

The magic of constellations

When was the last time you wondered how much you knew about the universe? The universe holds an incredible amount of secrets from us, and World Space Day is the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge. The holiday was established precisely to encourage people to learn more about science and to celebrate the scientific discoveries made so far. The initiative to celebrate the holiday came from the ranks of Lockheed Martin. The American company has been cooperating with NASA for many years, creating, among others, parts for space shuttles. The idea also appealed to members of NASA, who thought that it was a great opportunity to spread knowledge about astronomy. Space is fascinating, and exploring its mysteries can be a very rewarding activity. What we most often associate the universe with are the stars. Their sets are called constellations or constellations. Humans began classifying them nearly 3,000 years B.C., although different conclusions were reached depending on the region of the world. In fact, the stars that are combined into constellations usually have little relationship to each other and are located at great distances from each other. In 1930 Eugène Delporte, as a representative of the International Astronomical Union, published a list consisting of 88 constellations. The list is still valid today and the constellations that are not included are called asterisms.
