Night Cats

Waking up at 4:18? Or would 2:30 or 5:50 be a better time? It seems that every purr-fect cat has its own clock. Socks with black cats reflect the lifestyle of the friendly furries. Both the closet and apartments of cat people often refer to cats. A person won't even look at it when all the fridge magnets are in the shape of cats, and the favorite pajamas have the image of purrs. Socks with cats are a great gift for anyone who loves these unique animals. Cats are wonderful companions, but most of them show increased activity during the night. This is part of their nature, so instead of getting upset with your cat, it is definitely better to take an interest in why your protégé is having night concerts. The basic issue is to check whether the pet is not suffering from anything. If the vet determines that the meowing is psychological and not related to an illness, then you can start training your pet. Why do cats have night concerts? Some of the most common reasons include boredom, loneliness, stress, hunger, and habit. Fortunately, these are things that can be combated. If the kitten had little fun during the day, at night it simply gets bored and tries to wake up its guardian to take care of it. A decent dose of evening play should solve the problem. Additionally, interactive toys and toys with food hidden inside work great. This way, the cat has an interesting activity for which it gets a reward. These types of toys are also suitable for night hungry cats. Many cats like to eat their most filling meals at night. One method is to give your cat at least two bowls. One bowl will be used for regular meals and the other, placed in a different location, will be used for nighttime supplements. Many cats become very attached to their owners and may feel lonely at night. When the cat meows, you can call it to you. Maybe your purr is just waiting for an invitation to take a nap together. Social cats like to have their bed next to the owner's bed. It makes them feel safe. To make sure that the pet does not feel lonely, many people decide to take in at least two cats. This way the cats always have company. However, if the cat meows out of habit, the best thing to do is not to react. Cats are intelligent and learn quickly that if something is beneficial, you should stick to it. If you do not react, the cat will probably give a few more concerts, but in time it will get bored and find more interesting things to do.

White, red, or maybe black?

For years it was said that the color of the cat can determine its character. Redheads were said to be capricious, white cats delicate and distinguished, black ones slightly mysterious. Many people still have fierce discussions and insist that cats of a certain colour are ascribed specific traits. However, one only has to look at the research to find out that it is not the colour of the cat that determines its disposition. A team of researchers from UC Berkley, California State University and New College of Florida conducted an online study. The study group consisted of 189 cat owners of different cat colors. Caregivers were asked to associate different personality types with their cat's color. The results of the study left no doubt that the color of the coat has no influence on the character of the pet. In this case, genes and upbringing turn out to be crucial. If you are looking for a purr-fect cat with a specific set of traits, there are two easiest ways to do it. Many shelters allow you to spend time with the pet of your choice. This way, you can get to know him better and make sure he is the companion you are looking for. For one person, a calm cuddler will be ideal, while someone else will prefer the company of an energetic pet. If you dream about a purebred cat, it's a good idea to learn about the characteristics of the breed before you buy it. Of course, there are also personal traits, but some breeds are ideal for homes with small children, while others are more at ease in a quieter environment. Unfortunately, all stereotypes related to cat colours are still present in the society, that is why on November 17 we celebrate Black Cat Day. Black cats have had a bad reputation since the Middle Ages. This manifests itself not only in numerous superstitions but also in the fact that black cats are the least adopted representatives of their species (the only exception is the USA, where black cats are taken in most often). Black Cat Day aims to emphasize that dark colored cats are no different from their colored brothers and sisters and that they too can become man's best friend. Cats are unique creatures that are able to give a whole lot of love. If you are dreaming of a wonderful friendship with your pet, the same principle works here as with human relationships. Choose a cat with a disposition that suits you, and it will be the beginning of a beautiful and long friendship.
