Men's socks

It would seem that floral socks are the domain of ladies, but this is just a stereotype. Floral patterns are also appreciated by men. In August, we particularly recommend colorful socks, which with their colors bring to mind gladioli. Gladiolas are extremely chic flowers that are inextricably associated with August. It is in this holiday month that gardens are filled with stately plants. Their name here is not accidental, as it comes from the Latin term gladius, translated as sword. Plants delight with a whole fever of unusual colors, so they are an excellent fashion inspiration. Some flowers have delicate pastel shades, while others surprise with intense color. Both powder socks and red socks can resemble the petals of gladioli. White, orange and yellow gladioli are also characteristic, and these are just a few of the many colors found in nature. One flower can give you an extraordinary amount of inspiration.

Gladiator flowers

Centuries ago, the earth received a lot of blood from the Romans and Thracians, who waged a fierce battle between them. The scales of victory fell to the Romans, who had no mercy for the defeated. The Thracians faced the fate of the gladiators. Among the captured prisoners were two young men: Sevt and Teres. Both were homesick and longing for their irrevocably lost freedom. Shared pain caused a friendship to be born between the men. Brotherhood gave them a bit of hope, which they so desperately needed. However, the young men's friendship did not escape the attention of one of the Romans, who soon devised a diabolical plan. Sevt and Teres were summoned to a duel in which they would face off against each other. The fight drew crowds of onlookers to the stands, who wanted to see how friendship ends and the fight for survival begins. Not only were lives at stake, but also the prospect of regaining freedom and returning to their homeland, which were stipulated for the winner. Sevt and Teres stood in the arena, and as soon as they were in the center, they thrust their swords into the ground. The gesture drew the fury of the crowd. However, the threatening shouts were unable to influence the young men. They were well aware that the consequence of their behavior would be death, but they had no intention of betraying their friendship. Roman soldiers ended the lives of Sevt and Teresa in front of the enraged crowd. As the men's bodies fell to the ground, there was a sudden silence, and gazes turned to the swords stuck in the ground. In their place stood two tall flowers, which have since been called gladiolas in memory of the indomitable gladiators.
